For this assignment I chose a book by Hilary Mantel titled "An Experiment In Love". The effects I used were I did a perspective blur on the woman scientist. I created a new layer with her hand to create a depth of field effect. I also created the wording and edited them with puppet warp as well as overlay and stroking to make them pop a bit more. The original photo of the scientist showed her holding a test tube so I had to remove it, clean the image and then work a pic of a beaker into the design.
